Open the Government
Open Government develops a sound safety culture and security for our families, homes, and communities; holds our government accountable; and defends the freedoms upon which our democracy depends.
The American way of life demands our government operate in the open; to be responsive to the public, to foster trust and confidence in government, and to encourage public participation in civic and government institutions.
The public’s right to know promotes equal and equitable access to government, encourages integrity in official conduct, and prevents undisclosed and undue influence from special interests.

The 4th District Court of Appeal’s hearing that was scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled. Judge Harsha recused himself after this case was on the docket for 3 months. Was this a deliberate ploy to delay justice for the people of the Grandview area?
I think this development seems very questionable.
Why, after 3 months, would Harsha decide to recuse himself?
How inbred is Harsha in this area with local politics (this is his dad’s hometown)?
Was the unfair decision given by the 4th District Court of Appeal’s on the Mollette et al v Portsmouth City Council motivated by Harsha being deep-seated with the local politics?
How can the people of Portsmouth ever receive a fair shake when we can’t even rely on Judges to be fair and follow the law?
